This is what happens when you call the wrong contractors. Knowing the customer couldn't get into the crawlspace, the previous contractor took advantage. The price tag was 10xs anything we would ever charge and the work was obviously done incorrectly. Whether intentional or not - does it matter when mistakes are made on your dime? Call the company that stands behind their work. L.A. Reedy provides a lifetime warranty on the solutions we provide. This "job" was completed by a (non plumbing) company less than a year ago. They declined to help the customer make things right. Now she has to pay us to fix their mistakes and to take care of the original problem. The silver lining is that she now has a proper pump system that actually removes water from her property completely. Think twice about calling the company with a big marketing budget. Everyone loves A.I. on the interwebs - fancy commercials and funny bits DO NOT SOLVE PROBLEMS. Call your home town team for a personal touch. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - allow my family to be there for yours. -AJ

Take advantage of L.A. Reedy's - After completion of any basic service call, we will complete a walk through or "Tour" of your homes plumbing. Just a quick check of things to make sure you aren't in any danger that you may not know about. We will quickly check toilets to make sure you aren't leaking money down the drain. Check your crawlspace for water, mold, leaks, and problems. Sanitizing is one of the final steps to getting your cistern clean. Spraying all interior components, as well as any drainage piping that supplies your cistern with water from the roof. It's key that all components stay clean - which means inspecting gutters, downspouts, roof filtration, and drainage piping for any problems. Leaving these items unchecked will not allow the cistern to stay clean for long.

One of the ways we begin our cistern clean outs, is by stirring up the sediment and pumping it out along with the existing water inside the tank upon arrival. Yes, we actually get inside the tank! This process is not fun, but necessary for a thorough cleaning.
