Last week I went on an adventure down to Tennessee to help my favorite person, my best friend and cousin! She had a whole home flood a month ago, and the painter that the contractor hired murdered her walls 🫣🫣 Overspray on EVERYTHING (ceilings, furniture, doorknobs…), runs and sags on most walls and I’m not even sure how they got the texture the way it was. Then bubbles from the primer offgassing from painting the next coat too soon 😭 it was a mess to say the least! Sooo, we put in 90 (wo)man hours, power sanded all her walls, scraped the runs, skim coated, primed and repainted everything! Once she is moved back in, I will share the gorgeous after photos, but for now, here’s just a few of the before that don’t do it justice.

Things have been a little quiet on the business front. Last week, my sweet gram went to be with Jesus 🤍 I was so blessed to have her as my grandma for the last 38 years, and she will be so dearly missed!! This home was so fun! Nothing was left untouched, from ceilings, to doors, crown, base, and walls!! The original colors were… all of them, pink, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple! Now the new homeowners have a beautiful fresh creamy white slate to start their new memories in with their family!

Who is Mama with a Paintbrush? I haven’t done an intro for a while, so here it goes!

My name is Chelsie, and I am a wife and mother of 2! I started painted about 20(ish) years ago, with painting some of the new homes and remodels for my dads construction business! Fast forward until about 8 years ago... After had my 2nd child, my husband and I decided I could stay home with the kids! In that same summer, I ended up painting 3 homes for friends and quite a few jobs for my dad! What started out as photos of me painting, while baby wearing my youngest, with the hashtag , turned into a business and name! I pride myself on my attention to detail, cleanliness and working in every home as if I was painting in my own, only the best work will do! I now do all interior painting, some exterior painting, install wallpaper (and remove) as well as cabinet refinishing! Through clients sharing with their friends, my business has flourished and I’m busier than I would have ever imagined! ❤️ so thank you to all of my clients, you’re the best!!

Sometimes I forget before and after photos 🤪🤪 but it’s okay! I will share the “after” for the bathroom I did in this home. What is not pictured is the matching bedroom, and 2 more bedrooms with a jack n Jill bath. It was a fun refresh in this customers entire 2nd level!
