Busy season is in full swing at Duke Building & Excavating — and we’re thrilled to announce the start of yet another new build, this time perched on top of the mountain with absolutely stunning views. 🌄

We’ve started the foundation, and we can’t wait to show you the progress as this dream home comes to life. Every build is unique, but this one is going to be something special.

As promised, here’s a first look at the finished interior! 🛠️

While the living space might appear compact at first glance, this addition actually sits atop a full two-car garage, making it much more spacious than it seems. Smart design, strong foundation, and a whole lot of hard work went into this project — and we’re proud to share the results.

The clients are thrilled, and so are we.

Rebuilt Stronger After Hurricane Helene

We’re wrapping up a home addition and rebuild project for a client whose house was devastated by Hurricane Helene. What stood as rubble is now a beautifully rebuilt home — stronger, safer, and better than ever.

The excavation alone was a major challenge, but our team took it head-on. From the ground up, we’ve poured everything into this project, and the results speak for themselves. The interior is stunning, and we can’t wait to share photos once the final inspection is complete.

Our client is thrilled, and we’re proud to have helped them turn the page and start fresh in a home that’s truly built to last.

Duke Building and Excavating successfully recovered multiple vehicles trapped beneath a collapsed house following a landslide caused by Hurricane Helene. Our team conducted the recovery operation without causing any additional damage to the vehicles, allowing the client to initiate the insurance claims process. The insurance company had previously refused to inspect the vehicles until they were safely recovered.
