Duke Building is hiring a detail‑oriented, driven General Contracting Project Manager to oversee construction projects from start to finish. This role is essential in maintaining clean, organized job sites, keeping employees on task, and ensuring all work meets our high standards of quality and safety. We are seeking a long‑term, permanent team member who wants to become part of our family and help build high‑end log homes from the ground up.

Primary Duties
Project Leadership — Lead and coordinate all phases of construction, including planning, scheduling, supervision, and ex*****on.
Daily Scheduling — Develop daily work schedules to maintain steady progress and ensure timelines are met.
Blueprint & Contract Review — Review blueprints and contracts to verify scope, accuracy, and technical requirements.
Subcontractor & Vendor Management — Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and efficient workflow.
Time Management — Utilize time effectively to keep projects moving and avoid delays.
Site Oversight — Monitor job sites for safety compliance, quality control, and adherence to project specifications.
Reporting — Assist with progress reports, change orders, and maintain consistent communication with the company president.
Employee Oversight — Observe employee performance and report unsafe or adverse behaviors related to job site safety.
Daily Site Visits — Conduct daily site visits to assess progress, resolve issues, and maintain project momentum.
Risk & Resource Management — Implement effective project management practices focused on time management, risk mitigation, and resource optimization.
Requirements
Construction Management Experience — Proven experience in residential & commercial construction with strong on‑site coordination skills.
Blueprint Proficiency — Hands‑on experience reading blueprints and technical drawings.
Contract Knowledge — Strong understanding of contract management, including negotiation, review, and enforcement.
Safety Expertise — Excellent knowledge of construction safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
Multitasking Ability — Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
Communication Skills — Effective communication with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
Leadership — Demonstrated leadership managing diverse teams in fast‑paced construction environments.
