Finished up this nice Pergola for a customer!
It's always a challenge to deal with fresh cut timber. Each job you acquire a few more tools to make the job easier. This one definitely turned out nice.

* 24" x 24" x 24" concrete footings
* 5/8 × 18" anchor rods
* 8" x 8" rough cut beam brackets
* 8" x 8" rough cut cypress post
* 3" x 8" rough cut cypress beams
* 2" x 8" rough cut cypress joists
* 4" x 8" rough cut cypress corbals

We've been working on this nice 8' x 12' pergola made of rough cut cypress. No kit! Rough cut cypress straight off the mill to the job site. Should have the final pictures Monday when we hang the swings(very nice swing built by the neighbor who also referred us). It's definitely a process if you want to do it right. Thankful for our repeat referals and repeat customers..

I had a memory that came up on my personal page with one of my race cars and decided to share a few pics. This is how I unplugged from work not long ago. I've always had a race car since high school. The drag strip was our go to spot and no matter the outcome of each outing we always came back recharged for a few more weeks of work until we had a chance to do it again. I personally can say I'd probably still love it but the lack of interest from the younger generation just isn't there anymore. The same thing in construction, the younger people are just not taking up the trade and it's pretty sad. 💪🏼

Our customer today had a big hump in his sewer line and the driveway was pushed up and draining back towards the house....

Our customer today had a big hump in his sewer line and the driveway was pushed up and draining back towards the house. This was caused by a big oak tree next to the driveway and home. We did the Demo and haul off on the driveway panels. The sewer line was up 3" on a 4" pipe. That's what trees do when left to close to houses.

Who wouldn't want to chill underneath this nice front porch area with a good meal or a great cup of coffee, etc, etc. The list goes on. We've been told over and over again that porches cost to much. That may be so but we see value in outdoor spaces.
