Virginia buttonw**d is a warm season w**d that is difficult to control due to its low growth that can evade mowers and how long the seeds persist in soils.

Maintaining your lawn through mowing and proper drainage are the best ways to prevent buttonw**d, but there are some chemical control options available. Read more here: https://tinyurl.com/mr2ve89y

Watering your lawn every day in the summer may be doing more harm than good.

Frequent, shallow watering encourages weak root systems and can lead to disease. Water deeply and infrequently, applying about 1 inch of water per week, including rainfall, spread over two or three irrigation events. Watering in the early morning is ideal.

Unfortunately we have been running like chickens with their heads cut off, I forget to take some before shots of this job, but front yard had 3 big cypress trees and knees for miles, customer wanted trees and knees removed and new zoysia sod in front and back yards. Let us know if there is something we can do for you!!! 985-264-0912
