A specialized mix for a demanding application. Our Gulf Coast West team recently supplied Austral Paving with 4,500 PSI concrete featuring SikaFiber-800 Stealth macro synthetic reinforcement and E5 Internal Cure.

The SikaFiber reinforcement provides added toughness, crack control, and durability throughout the concrete, while E5 Internal Cure helps promote more complete hydration and reduce shrinkage – combining technologies designed for long-term concrete performance.

From daylight into the night, our team kept the project moving and delivered the high-performance concrete the job required. Thank you for trusting MMC Materials with the project!

We had to share this great shot from Kemit Spears’ summer with MMC Materials!

Kemit, Construction Management Program Coordinator & Instructor with the School of Construction & Design, spent four weeks alongside MMC teams throughout the Gulf Coast, getting a firsthand look at ready-mix concrete production, plant operations, and projects in the field.

We’re working on something special behind the scenes at MMC Materials, and today we had the opportunity to sit down with two employees who have quite a story to tell.

Mixer Truck Operators and Driver Trainers John Grant and Ben Jordan bring a combined 56 years of experience to MMC – John with 14 years and Ben with an incredible 42 years.

Both have built a reputation for hard work, taking care of our customers, sharing their knowledge with other drivers, and representing MMC the right way every day. Today, they traded the driver’s seat for the interview seat – and did an outstanding job.

Thank you, John and Ben, for sharing your stories with us and having a little fun along the way. We can’t wait to share more of what we’re working on.

An early start recently on the Mississippi Gulf Coast! Our team was onsite before sunrise for a 5:00 am concrete pour on the new Roy Cumbest Bridge in Vancleave, Mississippi.

Projects like this take careful coordination, teamwork, and dependable materials to keep the work moving. We appreciate the opportunity to be part of another important infrastructure project in the communities we serve.
