After a short delay for a design change, Beaty Construction, Inc. has finished installing the storm drains and curb inlets along the north side of Main Street between Baltimore and St Michaels. Once the backfill has been placed, new curb and gutter will be cast and that portion of the street paved. The alley between Baltimore and St. Michaels was reprofiled to allow surface runoff to enter the new roadway inlets.
This work, through cooperation between local residents, the City of Madison, and INDOT, was peformed to correct a drainage issue along that section of Main St.
