Today, on , we’re recognizing the vital role care environments play in healing. This year’s campaign highlights the importance of including people with lived experience of mental health conditions in decisions that affect their lives—including the spaces where they receive care. At BWBR, we believe human-centered design, informed by meaningful community engagement, can create dignified, safe, and supportive environments that foster compassionate mental health care. ❤️🧠 Learn more about World Mental Health Day 2026: https://loom.ly/rBthxYU

We're thrilled to celebrate the opening of the Debra H. and Robert J. Patrick Neuroscience Institute at Ochsner Health, designed by BWBR with local architect Woodward Design+Build. This transformational, 132,000 sq. ft. facility unites Ochsner's nationally recognized neuroscience programs in one location—the only institute of its kind between Houston and Atlanta—built around patient dignity, specialist collaboration, and clinical excellence.

"What stands here now is far more than an institute. It is hope where there was once uncertainty. It is innovation where there were once limits. It is healing and possibility for every patient and family who will walk through these doors," said Tim Riddell, MD at the ribbon cutting ceremony.

Congratulations to Ochsner Health and everyone involved in bringing this impactful project to life! 👏

As environments that prepare students for healthcare careers and facilitate the development of new medical techniques, simulation spaces are critical to the future of care. These spaces must be student-centric, staff-friendly, empowering, and intuitive—all while replicating real-world environments and supporting teaching and learning. https://loom.ly/jXZnE-0
