🎉 We celebrated the grand opening of Vicino Apartments last week with a ribbon-cutting in Madison's Greenbush neighborhood.

Just steps from Camp Randall on Regent Street, Vicino brings 50 units of new workforce housing to one of Madison's most walkable neighborhoods. As the general contractor for Wisconsin Housing Preservation Corp., our team carried this five-story, 62,000-square-foot development from demolition through final completion — including underground precast parking, a rooftop terrace, and ground-floor commercial space with a barbershop build-out underway.

The name captures it best. As Wisconsin Housing Preservation Corp. shared at the ribbon cutting: "'Vicino' means neighbor in Italian — a great nod to the diverse history of the Greenbush neighborhood and all the vibrant groups of people who've made it what it is. This is a great neighborhood to be a part of. We're happy to be neighbors."

And looking ahead, Mike Walters, President & CEO of Iconica, added: "This will really be a great addition to the revitalization of the Regent Street corridor. From an Iconica standpoint, we were thrilled to be a part of the project — a great collaboration with all the different groups, and we're really happy with how it turned out."

When a mini golf tournament needs a Monday morning playoff, you know it was a good one. ⛳

The 2026 Iconica Mini Golf Classic came down to a three-way tie between Scott, Jeremy, and Michael — settled on Hole 7 in a tense head-to-head finish. In the end, Michael took the crown 🏆, Jeremy claimed silver, and Scott rounded out the podium.

For 60+ years, the Madison School Forest Campground has supported outdoor education for our local community. We're honored to have built the next chapter and excited to see the new cabins support overnight camping and day camp experiences for thousands of MMSD students and community members each year.
