Wingra Stone & Redi-Mix Wingra produces hundreds of different mixtures to meet your projects needs.

Wingra Stone Company and Wingra Redi-Mix are local family owned businesses and have been providing construction aggregates and redi-mixed concrete to our community and customers since 1928. These mixtures are produced by fully computerized state of the art batching plants assuring accurate and uniform mixtures. We produce and control our own aggregates, this provides for a higher quality concrete product. Our quality control personnel also keep a close eye on the quality of our product in the field.

Big things are taking shape at our Sundby plant! This week, we're highlighting the progress made on-site as we being the process of erecting the plant. From the concrete foundations to the groundwork, each step brings us closer to the next phase of construction.

Concrete needs more than cement and water!
Aggregates, such as sand and crushed stone, make up a major part of a concrete mixture.
They help provide structure, stability, and strength while also making up much of the volume of the finished concrete. So, while cement often gets most of the attention, aggregates are an essential part of what makes concrete work. It's another example of how the materials behind a project are just as important as what you see on the surface.

Ever wonder what happens before concrete arrives at the jobsite?
It starts at the plant, where materials are carefully measured and mixed to create the right concrete for each project.
From there, our trucks transport the concrete to the jobsite, where is becomes part of the roads, buildings, foundations, and other projects that keep our communities moving.
There's a lot that goes into getting concrete from the plant to the jobsite- and we're proud to be part of every step.
