⚠️ SCHEDULED WATER OUTAGE: Water Main Tie-In

Crews will be on-site conducting a tie-in into an existing water main at 2562 Pineworth Road on Thursday, June 4, 2026, beginning at 9:00 am.
The following areas may lose water or experience low water pressure:

- 2314 Pineworth Road through 2624 Pineworth Road
- All of Kinsale Drive
- All of Kildare Way
- All of Kinsale Court
- All of Shannon Court

Please see the attached map.

This repair will take an estimated 6-8 hours to complete and will affect approximately 125 customers. These customers have been notified in advance and will be updated once the service has been restored.

Macon Water Authority will be on-site installing a 12-inch water valve at the intersection of Anthony Road and Cedar Avenue on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, beginning at 8:00 am.
The following areas may lose water or experience low water pressure:

- 2215 Pio Nono Avenue
-1349 Anthony Road through 1375 Anthony Road
-1916 Cedar Avenue through 2157 Cedar Avenue
-180 Moseley Avenue
-192 Straight Street
-258 Straight Street

Most water pollution comes from everyday activities happening in our own neighborhoods. Things like fertilizer washing off lawns, motor oil dripping from cars, litter blowing into storm drains, and pet waste left on the ground can all end up in our local streams and rivers when it rains. These "nonpoint source" pollutants add up fast, so be mindful of what's happening in your yard and on your street. It's one of the easiest ways to protect Macon's water.

Did you know you can keep an eye on your water use by checking your water meter? It's easier than you think! Your meter measures how much water flows into your home, and checking it regularly can help you spot unusual spikes in usage, which could signal a leak.

To check for a leak, turn off all water in your home and watch the meter. If it's still moving, water is going somewhere it shouldn't be. Knowledge is power when it comes to managing your water use.
