Now that I have my lift I’m more able to take down giant trees for customers for reasonable prices. No access for a large truck and can’t afford to have a company bring out a crane. My equipment can gain access through a 36 inch gate and have the job done in a fraction of the time it would take to climb. I got an emergency call to prune a dead limb off this giant hackberry tree. Well, it was a hazardous tree and the homeowner only had one day to get the job done. Upon inspection it appeared that there was no safe way to put a rope in the tree so I had to bring out my four foot extended platform and my Stihl 500i with a 28 inch bar to get the job done. Big news for Knotty Branches Tree Service! Only 4 months in business and I am officially able to bid for city jobs and today I landed my first one! This is huge because now I will have more consistent work during the off season. Also I will be doing what I truly love which is shaping the landscape of the city that I call home.
