🌾 This is a common sight in a lot of yards! A random circular dead spot. ☠️ We see this everywhere!

These are caused by trees that have been removed. More often than not, when stumps are ground down, the mulch debris from the stump is left behind. It decays and doesn’t support healthy turf, so grass refuses to grow.

When we repair these, we remove as much of the debris as we can, install clean top soil and sow new grass seed.

We completely flipped and renovated this backyard! We took this entire backyard down to just the dirt, graded it, added a french drain, buried the downspout and installed modern pavers. Check out the last picture for the final result!!! 🤩

We had an awesome time presenting at the McDonough County 4H Farm Safety Day! 🌱🚜

Our team had the opportunity to work with some great kids and teach them the importance of outdoor and equipment safety—especially when it comes to landscaping tools and lawn care equipment. From mower safety to being aware of your surroundings, these future leaders asked great questions and brought tons of energy!

We’re proud to be part of a community that values safety, education, and hands-on learning. Big thanks to everyone who helped organize such a great event!

A brief taste of winter will make a return Monday night and Tuesday morning, with a few snow showers in the forecast. We could see some minor travel impacts for the Tuesday morning commute.
