We completely flipped and renovated this backyard! We took this entire backyard down to just the dirt, graded it, added a french drain, buried the downspout and installed modern pavers. Check out the last picture for the final result!!! 🤩

We had an awesome time presenting at the McDonough County 4H Farm Safety Day! 🌱🚜

Our team had the opportunity to work with some great kids and teach them the importance of outdoor and equipment safety—especially when it comes to landscaping tools and lawn care equipment. From mower safety to being aware of your surroundings, these future leaders asked great questions and brought tons of energy!

We’re proud to be part of a community that values safety, education, and hands-on learning. Big thanks to everyone who helped organize such a great event!

🌱 Spring Clean-Up Checklist 🌷

Winter is officially over — it’s time to get your yard looking its best! Here’s your go-to spring clean-up list:

✅ Remove leaves, sticks, and debris
✅ Remove w**ds from landscape beds
✅ Edge beds and redefine borders
✅ Prune shrubs and trim back perennials
✅ Cut down ornamental grasses
✅ First mow of the season (don’t cut too short!)
✅ Apply pre-emergent w**d control to your lawn and landscape beds
✅ Refresh mulch for a clean, polished look
✅ Fertilize lawn for a strong start

💡 A clean yard now = healthier growth all season long!

More snow is coming Tuesday night. Good news is snowfall won’t be significant. Timing is 8PM to 4AM west to east Tuesday night into Wednesday AM.

Roads will be slick early Wednesday morning but the strong March sun will melt it away quickly.

Rain will switch over to snow behind the system tonight with the highest accumulating snow amounts near and west of the IL River. Very strong winds gusting over 45 mph will result in blowing and drifting snow, reducing visibility to 1/4 mile or less. Impacts to the Monday morning commute are expected.
