Getchell’s Seasonal Services is looking to hire a Full-Time employee. Main Job tasks, Lawn Care, Landscaping, Snowplowing, and Tree Work. Experience is preferred but not necessary. We are willing to train the right candidate. Applicants must be self-motivated, trustworthy, responsible, reliable, and ready to work hard.

Pay is based on experience and we are willing to train the right person. Overtime is paid on all hours each week over 40. No mandatory weekend work, except for winter snow plowing.

(1) Getchell’s Seasonal Services is looking to hire a laborer starting immediately through the end of October. (Could lead to more year round work) Applicant duties include, but are not limited to, lawn care/landscaping related tasks. Experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate. Applicants must be responsible, reliable, and ready to work hard.

(2) Getchell’s Seasonal Services is looking to hire a crew leader for our summer mowing crew. This is a seasonal position, May-October, which could lead to more year round work. (snowplowing) We would prefer a full-time seasonal candidate, but we would be willing to make this position part time 3 or 4 days per week to fit the needs of the right candidate. Applicant would be the driver/leader of a mowing crew in the Machias area. Experience is preferred but not necessary. We are willing to train the right candidate. Applicants must be self-motivated, trustworthy, responsible, reliable, and ready to work hard. This job would also work well for someone recently retired looking for something to do this summer.

Pay is based on experience/we are willing to train the right person. With both positions overtime is possible, no mandatory weekend work. We provide ear protection, eye protection, business apparel, and water/gatorade during workdays.
