I know there are excellent satellite dish installers out there who do things the right way, but in my neck of the woods I’ve seen some pretty awful work. In this instance, the dish is “grounded” to the copper pipe of an outside spigot which attached to a plastic piping system!!! Not exactly a solid connection to home’s electrical grounding system.
