🌿 LAST CALL! 🌿

Sadly, another greenhouse season is coming to an end! 🥹

Our last day of regular greenhouse hours will be Saturday, September 26.

But don’t worry we’re not completely disappearing just yet! 😉
We still have a lot of work to do to prepare for Winter so if you see us or if we still have plants out you're welcome to stop and shop!

🌼 The roadside stand will remain open for self-service with:
🥚 Eggs
🌸 Mums
🎃 Pumpkins..but only while supplies last!

🌸 Mimi’s Petal Patch & the Gift Shop will be open Saturdays until our first hard frost of the season.

So if you’ve been meaning to stop in one more time for that perennial or tree you've been wanting in your garden now is the time!!!!

🌸 WOW JUST WOW!!! 🌸

Again I am blown away by the support of this community!!!
Thank you to EVERYONE who came out to Mimi’s Petal Patch yesterday for opening day!! ❤ .... I was worried my in laws would be the only ones to show up...don't get me wrong my in laws are the best and I love that they show up for me but I was nervous it would just be me and them sitting here all awkward 😂

But it wasn't and we welcomed so many new and seasoned dahlia growers to our Petal Patch.
I’m pretty sure I heard “WOW did you see this one” about 437 times yesterday 😂

And honestly, I get it!
Walking into the Petal Patch and seeing all of these dahlias blooming is pretty amazing! As you walk through each one seems better than the last.

Visitors were able to wander through the patch and see all the different varieties we’re growing, and one thing we heard over and over again was…
“I CAN’T PICK ONE FAVORITE!” 😂

Yep. That’s the problem with dahlias. You start with one favorite and suddenly you need 37, but that's ok I'm here for you 🤷‍♀️😂

Hayley greeted visitors with a surprise sale in the Greenhouse & Nichole gave everyone a chance to win a Cut Flower Starter Kit of your very own for next season 💐

And I promise… even if you don’t consider yourself a gardener, you’re going to be amazed by these flowers!! There’s just something about standing in the middle of 250+ different dahlias; many in bloom that pictures really don’t do justice to. ❤️

🌸 TODAY’S THE DAY!!! 🌸

Finally! After a few delays, a whole lot of growing, watering, and probably a little bit of questioning whether we were ever actually going to get here 😂

🌸🌸🌸 Mimi’s Petal Patch is officially OPEN!!! 🌸🌸🌸

Is it totally finished? Nope. 😂
Are there still things we want to add, change & improve? Absolutely!
Will it ever be totally finished? Not likely 😂

But the dahlias are blooming, the paths are clear, and we are SO excited to finally open the "gate" and let you come experience it! 🥰

Grab a friend & come stroll through the Petal Patch, see the dahlias in bloom, take some pictures, get some inspiration for your own garden and just enjoy the flowers. 🌸

And of course… if you find a dahlia you absolutely LOVE, you can preorder for next season’s tubers!
