Jonquil Steel was started by Kenneth Clark and Tommy Aikens in 1991, bringing to the industry 46 years of fabrication and erection expertise. The majority of the work obtained is by bid system and approximately 15% of our work is negotiated. We are one of the few in this business that fabricate and erect our own product. We have provided structural and miscellaneous steel for schools, hospitals, w

arehouses, manufacturing plants, aircraft hangers, office high-rise buildings, and participated in the 1996 Olympics by building the Swatch Watch building, the AT&T display, and the Coca-Cola building.

Well established AISC Certified Steel Fabrication Company looking for welders. Candidate must have experience in laying out structural steel, reading blue prints, and be able to read a tape measure. Experience in MIG & FLUXCORE welding a plus. This is a full time position and starting pay is according to experience. We are currently looking for a Shop Superintendent with a minimum of 10 years experience. Candidate must be a clear communicator and possess strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Must be able to work with both office and field personnel daily. AISC Knowledge would be a plus.

Requirements:
●Coordinate plans and specifications with estimating and project management.
●Develop and maintain a strategy for logical material flow.
●Supervise 10 – 12 employees and manage their time in an efficient manner.
●Ensure that time sheets are completed and submitted. Document crew attendance.
●Assist in hiring shop personnel.
●Organize, purchase, assign and track small tools and equipment.
●Coordinate location of project specific materials and tools for distribution to job sites.
●Responsible for building maintenance, keeping shop clean and maintaining a safe environment for employees.
●Supervise all shop deliveries and arranging for material unloading.
●Track and process paperwork for materials delivered to shop and then to project locations.
●Collaborate with Project Managers on material shipments.
●Assist in quality control.

Must be able to pass a drug test and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
