Every Dream Has a Beginning
Have you been by our new office yet? If you have, you may have noticed that our owner has displays throughout the office that tell the story of what made Arctic Refrigeration, Heating & Air what it is today.
One of those displays is this picture frame, which holds something incredibly special — Tyler’s very first company T-shirt.
Back in 2013, when Tyler and Angel first started dating, they shared their wants and dreams for the future. Tyler told Angel that one day, he wanted to own his own commercial refrigeration company while also providing exceptional residential and commercial HVAC services.
But Tyler’s dream was about more than simply owning a business. He wanted to build a company that focused on quality, craftsmanship, and taking pride in every service call and installation. He wanted to create a company that would stand apart from the competition — a company that customers would be willing to wait for because they knew they were getting the best.
He also dreamed of building something that could become a family legacy. Tyler told Angel that someday, when his future children grew up, he wanted them to have the opportunity to take over the company and work alongside him.
Angel asked him, “What would you call it?”
Tyler said he had actually been thinking about it for years. He wanted to call it Arctic Refrigeration, and he envisioned a logo featuring a snow sled.
A few months after Tyler shared those dreams with Angel, she made him his very first company T-shirt — not because the company existed yet, but because she believed in the dream.
It was a goal.
A reminder that one day, he would wear that shirt to work.
Fast-forward to October 21, 2021 — that dream became reality.
That was the first day Tyler wore this very T-shirt to work as the owner of Arctic Refrigeration, Heating & Air.
Today, that same shirt is framed and proudly displayed in our office. It reminds us — and everyone who walks through our doors — where this company came from.
A $3 T-shirt, with about $5 worth of vinyl, became the symbol of a dream that started years before the company ever existed.
It’s a reminder that every successful company starts somewhere.
Ours started with a dream, a lot of hard work, someone who believed in that dream, and one very special T-shirt.
