Had a few border shrubs grow larger than expected and get over crowded. They were also blocking the view of a beautiful weeping spruce so they needed to go. I planted a group of Tiny Tuff mountain hydrangeas in their place and love the new look. Happy Friday all 🍻

The Granite Walkway and garden expansion are ready to greet summer guests at our Swan pond project. I Love how the new entrance makes the house feel connected to the wandering gardens we have been adding to over the years. Thanks to all the wonderful people that allow me to build cool stuff!

Phase one of this project is just about wrapped up. The unsafe wooden steps have been replaced with granite that will last longer than you and me.
I plan to clean up the poured wall and paint it light grey to match the new block wall and then cap the whole thing with a dark cap.
The pavement up top will be replaced with a new paver walkway next year.
If I’m lucky, I will knock another one off the list before everything gets tucked away for winter. 🤞
