Yea you should reconsider your position. This is very normal. I am assuming he did not bid it that way as well. He fixed your leak. You should pay the man and hire a drywall company or a handyman. Handyman would be the most economical. Hope this helps you

I hired a plumber to fix a leak and he left his work unfinished like this He claimed he 'doesn't do drywall' and that I need to hire a separate contractor to patch it?? I’m sorry, but if you open it, you close it. I’m refusing to pay his $350 invoice until this is smooth and painted. Am I wrong?😔🤔😊🙏
