Just a heads up- Tuesday, September 1st at 8:00 am we will be tying in our new tank. This shall affect a lot of our customers - from the Waxler tank to Stanleyville Road(all branch roads) Pleasant Ridge (all branch roads) Moss Run, all of State Route 26 (all branch roads) County Road 9 , Zion Ridge, Dana’s Run, Dalzell Road (all branch roads). At this time there is no time frame as to how long service will be interrupted- there will be. 48 hour boil advisory. Once restored. We are trying to get the notice out in many communications- please forward onto your neighbors.

The state is a major importer of fracking wastewater, which gets pumped underground but doesn’t always stay there. The city of Marietta is fighting back.

Dr. Jeffery, Marietta College Geologist on the injection well situation near Marietta:

"There seems to be an inability to face the fact that there is a catastrophic escape of the waste — indicating a total failure of the fracking waste injection program.

The governor should declare a state of emergency in the impacted part of Washington County.

Washington County is sounding the alarm. Columbus needs to listen — before our drinking water is tainted by toxic waste.

Stop the injection. Lower the pressure. Protect the aquifers. Do it now."
