Ever wipe your siding and get this chalky residue on your hand?
That’s oxidation, not dirt.
Over time, UV exposure and weather can break down the surface of siding, leaving behind this chalky residue. A professional house wash can remove dirt, mildew and organic growth, but oxidation is a different issue and may remain after cleaning.
This is why I inspect the exterior before I start washing. Knowing what you’re looking at matters and it helps set the right expectations before the job begins.
