Boy it’s been a busy couple months! Here are a couple bridges that I had the pleasure of building in a clients backyard for their new trail (more to come on that.) These bridges allow the client to access a strip of their land that otherwise would be isolated and mostly unusable. I love building bridges and straight forward ones like this can easily be built in a day.

When I teach my trail building classes, I like to say that trail building isn’t just slapping dirt with a flat shovel… but sometimes you have an awesome project like this one and it is! This trail for Triangle Off-Road Cyclists is going to be an awesome one. Full details coming soon!!

Trail signage is a very important business, it allows trail users to better navigate a trail and ensures users are aware of any obstacles along the way. I am beyond excited to have officially started my 7th season as a professional trail builder and 2nd as Speedgoat Trail Co! It’s been an amazing journey and I can’t wait to see what awesome projects the future holds. When the government gives you lemons, you go make some lemonade… The shutdown put the project that I’ve been planning for the last 6 months on hold. Luckily had some subcontractor work to keep me busy in the meantime. Building front range open space trails with Aaron has been great. Feels kind of like the good ol' days, but better 😎
