Project progress update at Severance Community Park! ECI completed the first two phases of Severance Community Park in recent years, and we are now working on Phase III. This phase will feature a post-tension pickleball court, multipurpose sod fields with Musco lighting, parking lots, bocce ball court, shelters and pavilion. We look forward to completing this phase later this year!

ECI had the privilege of celebrating the grand opening of Amache Prowers Memorial Park in Denver today. This 9-acre community park features a playground, basketball court, turf fields, shade structures, and walking paths.

Most notably, this is the first park in Denver to be named after an American Indian. Amache Ochinee Prowers, a member of the Southern Cheyenne Tribe, was inducted into the Colorado Women’s Hall of Fame in 2018 and is celebrated for her efforts to bridge the cultural traditions of the Native American, Euro-American, and Mexican people who lived in Colorado’s southeastern plains.

Not only does Amache Prowers Park provide a community gathering space, but it serves as a reminder of the incredible history of Colorado. It was an honor to bring this project into fruition. Thank you, Councilwoman Stacie Gilmore, for attending the ribbon cutting this morning, and thank you to the following entities for collaborating on this endeavor: Avion Metro District, NORRIS DESIGN, Independent District Engineering Services (IDES), Denver Parks and Recreation.

to this time in 2022! ECI celebrated the grand opening of Arkins Promenade in Denver. This unique outdoor space combines recreation and the natural environment to create a linear park along the South Platte River. The project featured an elevated walkway with seating areas, outdoor classrooms, and viewing platforms 16 feet above the river bank.

The project also enhanced natural vegetation. Stormwater was treated using landscape-based water quality areas, which connected vegetated swales with chase drains and shallow conveyances. Existing outfalls that served Arkins Court as a street were reused for the stormwater from the park and adjacent roads.
