With frameless (European-style) cabinets, upper corner cabinets don’t always have to be closed off. We often turn that corner into open shelving instead — it keeps the space feeling lighter and less bulky, and gives you a spot for everyday items or a bit of styling.

One detail we like adding is using the lower shelf as a simple appliance garage. Things like a coffee maker or toaster can stay tucked away but still easily accessible, so your countertop stays clean without losing functionality.
