Most homes on the Parade started as dirt. This one was already standing.
One week from now you can walk through it. A whole home renovation in Fort Collins, inside and out, including two structural additions. The character stayed. Almost everything else got reconsidered alongside the family who lives there.
A custom kitchen with layered cabinetry. An arched entry wet bar with brass detailing. A stone fireplace flanked by custom arched niche built-ins. A lower level rebuilt for entertaining, with a golf simulator and lounge. A primary suite with a custom sauna and steam shower. Outside, a new pool and herringbone paver hardscape open to the golf green and the mountains behind it.
Warm stone, natural wood, brass and quartz carried room to room, so that none of it announces itself.
Hutch Home Co. finished areas of the house from their Old Town showroom, so the rooms read as lived in rather than staged.
Renovating a house is harder than building one from nothing. It is also the more interesting problem.
