Pace Contracting is proud to announce the promotion of Alex Oxencis to Operations Manager, moving into the role after serving as Senior Project Manager.
Alex brings 15 years of experience in the construction industry, including five years with Pace Contracting. He began his career with a major national general contractor, where he spent his first 10 years working primarily on large lock and dam projects throughout the country. That experience gave him a strong foundation in complex heavy civil construction and project management.
Since joining Pace, Alex has played an important role in delivering complex projects while building strong relationships with clients, partners and team members. What he enjoys most about the job is the combination of great people and challenging work. He values working with a strong team, solving problems and taking on projects that require planning, coordination and creative solutions.
Throughout his career, Alex has had the opportunity to work alongside talented people and learn from their experience. He places a strong value on continuing to learn, taking on new challenges and helping develop successful teams and projects.
Reflecting on his experience with Pace, Alex said, “Pace Contracting has given me the opportunity to take on challenging projects, work alongside experienced and talented people, and continue growing as a construction professional. I’ve appreciated the trust and responsibility I’ve been given over the past five years, and I’m excited to continue helping our teams solve problems, deliver successful projects, and grow the business.”
As Operations Manager, Alex will continue supporting project teams, helping guide operations and contributing to the growth and success of Pace Contracting.
