What size generator does your home really need?

Bigger isn't always better when it comes to standby generators. And your home's square footage doesn't tell the whole story.

The real question is whether you need to power your entire home or just the essentials during an outage.

At Corrigan Generators, we help homeowners find the right fit without paying for more generator than they actually need.

Whole home or essential circuits? Learn what makes the difference and why proper sizing matters before you invest.

In your 20s, pulling an all-nighter was no problem. Losing sleep now, because the power died and the ceiling fan shut off, ruins your whole week. 😴

Briggs & Stratton PowerProtect+ helps keeps your climate control and bedroom electronics running without a hitch. Sleep like a rock through any storm.

When you buy a standby generator from Corrigan Generators, the generator is only part of what you get.

Every installation includes:
✔️Remote monitoring, so we see your system run its weekly exercise and we see it when it reports a fault
✔️ Your first year of service and monitoring
✔️ A cold weather kit with oil and battery warmers, a standard we adopted after a severe cold snap in 2016
✔️ A solid pre-formed concrete pad on a bed of gravel
✔️ A licensed electrician who completes the electrical work, tests your system, and walks you through it

Through November 30, our launch offer takes $1,500 to $2,200 off the normal proposal price of a Briggs & Stratton standby generator. Savings are based on the size of the unit you select, and your deposit must be received by end of day November 30, 2026.

A Corrigan project manager will visit your home, review your panel and gas service, and recommend only the system your home truly needs. Request your appointment today.

When homeowners experience electrical problems, the issue they notice is not always the root cause.

That's why our service calls focus on identifying the full picture, not just applying a temporary fix.

Some common issues we inspect include:
• Breakers tripping repeatedly
• Flickering or dimming lights
• Dead outlets
• Burning smells
• Partial power loss
• Older or overloaded panels

Our licensed electricians take the time to troubleshoot the issue properly and recommend safe, long-term solutions that fit your home and electrical system.

Electrical issues are always worth taking seriously, especially before they become larger problems.

Don't let fall storms put a freeze on your comfort. A Briggs & Stratton PowerProtect+ generator handles a power outage automatically. Your fridge will keep running and your thermostat will stay at a cozy 72°.

Power outages don't wait for winter. Summer storms, high wind, ice, and equipment failures all take the power out, all year long.

A standby generator is ready for every Kentuckiana season, and with winter right around the corner, now is a good time to get one in place.

Our launch special is still going. Ask about it when you call.

⚡ SPARK 2026: Learning, Connecting & Bringing Back Big Ideas! ⚡

Last week, Troy, James, DeDe and Shawn headed to Columbus, Ohio, for IEC SPARK 2026 — an incredible opportunity to learn, connect, and explore new ideas that will help us continue growing as a team and company!

From educational sessions on AI and emerging technology to leadership, business development, project management, and building stronger teams, there was plenty of knowledge to bring back home. 💡📈

But professional development isn’t just about what’s learned in the classroom — it’s also about the connections made, conversations shared, and memories created along the way! 🙌

We made time for some fun, too, enjoying the experience, connecting with others in the industry, and making the most of our time in Columbus. Because growing together means learning together, sharing ideas, and building relationships both in and out of the workplace!

We’re excited to take what we learned, share new perspectives with our team, and put those ideas into action. 🚀

Here’s a look at SPARK 2026 — a little business, a little fun, and a whole lot of opportunity to grow!

👟🔥 When the invitation says Sneaker Prom, you know we have to make an entrance! 😂✨

Troy and DeDe, along with James and his wife as well a Shawn (seen in comments) had a little fun strutting our stuff down the red carpet before the 2026 National IEC Spark Awards Gala! 🎬📸

Business by day, red carpet stars by night! 😎⚡

⚡✨ 2026 National IEC Spark Awards ✨⚡👟

Sneaker Prom, IEC style! 👟🥂 Tonight was a celebration of not only the accomplishments of our industry, but also the incredible community we’re proud to be a part of.

The camaraderie, fellowship, celebration of fellow contractors, and willingness to share knowledge, offer support, and lift one another up are what make this IEC community so special. It’s about more than business — it’s about the relationships we build, the people who support one another, and growing stronger together.

It’s been an amazing year, and we’re proud of what we’ve accomplished, grateful for the connections we’ve made, and energized by the opportunities ahead. The future is bright, and we couldn’t be more excited for what’s next! 🚀

Great people, great energy, and a whole lot of reasons to celebrate! ⚡👟

Most homeowners think they already know what size generator they need. Usually it's the size they saw in a neighbor's yard.

The right size depends on your home. A Corrigan Generators project manager walks your property with you, reviews your electrical panel, your gas service, and the equipment you already have, and recommends only what your home truly needs. Often that's a smaller system than people expect.

Sizing matters for our launch special too. We're taking $1,500 to $2,200 off the normal proposal price of a Briggs & Stratton standby generator, and your savings are based on the size of the unit selected. Your site evaluation is where that gets decided.

Your deposit must be received by end of day November 30, 2026 to qualify, so request your appointment soon.
