The project is removing dangerous curves and reducing congestion with new turn lanes and passing lanes, while our team tackles steep grades and three large rock pinnacles through top-down excavation sequencing and blasting.

Road improvements are taking shape along US 60, Gilliland Ave., Highland Ave., and Eastwood Cutoff Rd. The project includes roadway widening, new turning lanes, and an extension of the walking trail to connect with a previously completed section of the Louisville Loop.

These improvements will provide wider, straighter roads, improved turning movements, and better connectivity for pedestrians and motorists.

Louisville Paving and Construction is currently working on a critical sewer replacement beneath I-65, including 230 feet of 18" combined sewer, 120 feet of 36" casing pipe, three manholes, and repairs to a failed brick sewer line.

This work is part of the KYTC I-65 Reproject, with our team working alongside Kiewit to complete the improvements while maintaining the existing infrastructure.
