Another exciting transformation completed by Excellent Exteriors Landscaping! 🌳🚧

This time, our crew had the pleasure of revitalizing the playground area at Ridgeview Baptist Church, creating a fresh, beautiful, and welcoming outdoor space for the children and daycare!

This project was a major undertaking! We removed over 20 years’ worth of old pea gravel, tore out a section of the existing chain-link fence, installed a brand-new privacy fence, and brought in an incredible 40 cubic yards of playground mulch to completely transform the area!

The transformation speaks for itself, but the most rewarding part wasn’t the finished project — it was seeing the excitement and happiness from the children, daycare staff, and church members. To say they were ecstatic would be an understatement!

Projects like this remind us why we love what we do. It’s not always just about landscaping. Sometimes it’s about creating spaces where children can play, friendships can grow, and memories can be made for years to come.

A huge thank-you to Ridgeview Baptist Church for trusting Excellent Exteriors Landscaping with this special project. We truly appreciate the opportunity!

💪 Another Busy Week at Excellent Exteriors Landscaping! 🌿

It’s been a busy and productive week for our crew here at Excellent Exteriors Landscaping! We’ve had a couple of large projects underway, with one still in progress, and we’re excited to share one of our most recent transformations!

This project was much more than just a landscaping makeover. It involved some serious groundwork to ensure the finished product not only looks beautiful but is built to last!

🌿 Here’s what we accomplished:

✅ Completely removed all existing landscaping and creek rock that was previously being used as a border.

✅ Temporarily disconnected existing irrigation lines to safely complete the renovation.

✅ Excavated and removed a significant amount of poor-quality topsoil, replacing it with fresh, quality topsoil to establish a better foundation for healthy plant growth.

✅ Rough graded and prepared the landscape beds for proper elevations and installation.

✅ Constructed a brand-new, durable retaining wall designed for long-term stability and curb appeal.

✅ Installed nonwoven landscape fabric and a fresh selection of landscape plants.

✅ Finished the beds with beautiful 2-inch river gravel for a clean, low-maintenance appearance.

✅ Reconnected, adjusted, and redirected irrigation lines and sprinkler heads to provide proper coverage for the new landscaping.

At Excellent Exteriors, we believe what’s underneath your landscaping is just as important as what you see on the surface. Proper preparation, quality materials, and attention to detail are what separate a quick makeover from a lasting investment.

We take pride in doing things the right way, not just the easy way!

A huge thank-you to our customers for continuing to trust us with their properties and to our hardworking crew for another job well done!

🌿 Giving Back to Our Community, One Landscape at a Time! 🌿
Every year, Excellent Exteriors Landscaping donates a complete landscape renovation to someone in our community. This year, we chose to give back to a hardworking single mother by completely transforming her landscaping!
We started with a complete tear-out, removing all existing landscaping down to the bare dirt, including an oversized shrub that had taken over the space. We then seeded and strawed the disturbed lawn areas to help restore the grass.
From there, we brought the landscape back to life with:
🌱 Heavy-duty landscape fabric to help prevent w**d growth.
🌸 Beautiful new plants to add color and curb appeal.
🌳 A freshly trimmed Japanese maple to enhance its natural beauty.
🪨 1½-inch river gravel for a clean, low-maintenance finish.
🖤 Black metal edging to keep the gravel in place and prevent grass from creeping into the landscape beds.
💡 A few solar landscape lights to give the finished landscape that extra touch of beauty in the evening.
The best part of this entire project? Seeing the homeowner's reaction! She was absolutely stunned by the transformation and is completely in love with her new landscaping. Moments like these remind us why we love what we do.
At Excellent Exteriors Landscaping, we believe in more than just transforming properties. We believe in giving back, helping others, and making a positive difference in our community.
We are incredibly grateful for the customers who continue to support our small business. Your support allows us to do projects like this and give back to the community that supports us.
From our family at Excellent Exteriors Landscaping, thank you for helping us make a difference! ❤️

There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a beautiful transformation! 🌿
These homeowners are repeat customers of ours, and due to some health challenges that needed their attention, their landscaping had gotten a little away from them. We were finally able to get back out there and bring their property back to the beautiful condition they’re accustomed to!
That’s one of the things I love most about landscaping—taking something that looks like the before pictures, putting in the hard work, and watching it transform into something beautiful again.
We truly appreciate our repeat customers and the trust they continue to place in Excellent Exteriors Landscaping. It’s always a pleasure bringing their outdoor spaces back to life! 🌳🏡

🌿 PHASE 1 COMPLETE | A TOTAL PROPERTY TRANSFORMATION IS UNDERWAY! 🌿
This is just the beginning of a major property transformation by Excellent Exteriors Landscaping!
Phase 1 consisted of removing all existing landscaping, taking down six trees, and removing a large berm to prepare the property for its complete redesign.
Next, we’ll be rerouting the downspouts to improve drainage, followed by the installation of all-new landscaping, including beautiful plants and shrubs to bring this property back to life.
And this is only the beginning! The first phases focus on the front and right side of the home, with many more exciting improvements to come.
Excellent Exteriors Landscaping will also be overseeing the transformation of approximately 4 acres of property, creating a beautiful, cohesive landscape from start to finish.
Stay tuned as we bring this incredible property transformation to life, one phase at a time!

Finished this one up last week, just in time for Labor Day weekend! 🌿

We gave the landscaping a fresh cleanup by removing the w**ds, trimming and shaping the bushes, and applying a strong pre-emergent to help keep those pesky w**ds under control. We finished everything off with a fresh layer of Grade-A cedar mulch for a clean, refreshed look.

I sure do love my repeat customers… even this one, although she’s a little “special.” 😂

Thank you for continuing to trust Excellent Exteriors Landscaping with your property year after year! We truly appreciate the repeat business. 🌳🏡

It may be hard to tell from the pictures, but a lot of work went into this cleanup at Schlotzsky’s Deli!

Our crew came in and gave the landscaping a much-needed refresh:
• Removed w**ds throughout the landscape beds
• Cleaned out leaves, debris, and unwanted growth
• Removed several dead bushes
• Cleaned up and redefined the beds
• Finished everything off with a fresh layer of dyed black mulch around the storefront

Sometimes it’s the simple cleanups that make the biggest difference. Fresh mulch and clean, w**d-free beds instantly give a commercial property a cleaner, more professional appearance.

🌿 Another Landscape Refresh Completed! 🌿

We gave this property a fresh, clean look while adding some new color and curb appeal.

We started by trimming the existing bushes, removing w**ds, and redefining all of the landscape bed edges for a crisp, finished appearance. We also removed an existing Viburnum and created a brand-new landscape bed where we installed a Crape Myrtle along with three Boxwoods.

Next, we removed an existing Dogwood tree and replaced it with a beautiful Rising Sun Redbud—one of our favorites for adding unique color throughout the season.

To finish everything off, we installed a fresh layer of dyed brown mulch throughout the landscape beds.

The homeowner was extremely happy with the finished product, and we were even fortunate enough to earn another ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Google review from the job!

Another satisfied customer and another property cleaned up and looking sharp!

Another project wrapped up in Norton Commons, and this one was completed 100% in-house by Excellent Exteriors Landscaping — no subcontractors from start to finish.

We started by building a small retaining wall, all while working around irrigation lines that seemed to be everywhere throughout the project. Not one line or pipe was damaged.

From there, we brought in topsoil to raise and improve the grade around the patio and installed dwarf ornamental grasses along with Schip Laurels near the fence to create a natural privacy screen. We finished those beds off with Black Chrome cobblestone for a clean, modern look.

Next came a fully functional low-voltage landscape lighting system, giving the entire area a completely different look once the sun goes down.

On the opposite side of the patio, we installed walking-path pavers surrounded by slate rock, tying everything together and creating an attractive, usable path through the space.

What makes this project even more interesting is where it started: an AI-generated picture provided by the homeowner showing exactly what they envisioned.

From an AI concept… to the real thing.

I’d say we came pretty darn close to 100% matching their vision.

Design. Grading. Hardscape. Planting. Rock. Lighting. All done in-house.
