Hey community!! Wanted to jump on here and do an informative post about pricing as it is something that we are asked about a lot. We do jobs that run the spectrum in cost from a few hundred $ to $$$$$… with our average job being in the several thousand dollar range.
Now here’s the sad and harsh reality of 2026. Pricing is increasing at an astonishing rate. Regrettably that is not our salaries lol 😭.
It’s fuel 😬, material, equipment, repairs, insurance, overhead, etc.
A lot of this is the result of rampant inflation in our nation over the past 5, 10, 20 + years.
We get phone calls all the time from customers who have projects they want done and when we start giving them preliminary pricing, they respond with shock 😱. Too be honest we are shocked too but we’re just used to it because this is the story of our lives with this business.
Here’s the thing. Some business choose to cut corners in order keep pricing the same as in years past, but that just results in you as the customer not receiving a quality product or service. We refuse to do that. Our quality and customer satisfaction is what keeps our business going and is something that we will not compromise on. This means that while a driveway that you had re-graveled or a sod job you had done 10 years ago for $1000 will probably cost you $2500-$3000 today, that is simply from inflation and current cost of supplies. The good news is that newer equipment and specialized attachments can mean that you are receiving a better overall job than you would have 10-20 years ago!
So what’s the point of this post? Well basically we want to arm you as the customer with as much helpful information as possible. If you have a project that you want done, go ahead and tell yourself that in this economy it’s probably going to cost more that you were thinking and then set you goals accordingly. A lot of our customers decide to do their projects in phases.
For example: Phase 1, new sod.
Phase 2 next year, landscaping.
Phase 3, forestry mulching the woodlot and cutting in atv or golf cart trails.
If you have a project you want done but have no clue what to expect, give us a call and we are always happy to give ballpark pricing over the phone. This is free for you and usually only takes 5-10 min. Plus this helps you be as equipped and knowledgeable about your project as possible.
As always, we strive to keep pricing fair and reasonable and are willing to work with our customers and their budgets to achieve the most bang for their buck and make their dream project a reality!!
Have a great weekend!
