There’s an ease to the way homes are designed and lived in here. Indoor and outdoor spaces flow together, natural materials feel at home, and the architecture has a strong connection to its surroundings.

Steven brings two decades of experience in sales, leadership, and relationship building, along with a deep familiarity with high-end finishes and luxury materials and a longtime interest in architecture, construction, and design.

Outside of work, he’s a family guy, motorsports enthusiast, guitar player, and someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people.

At Houck, we talk a lot about teamwork and reliability, and Nelson is someone who really lives that out every day.

You’ve probably seen him pop up on our socials quite a bit lately, especially since he’s been working on a couple of our ground up projects in the Pacific Palisades. He’s always willing to jump in, help the team, and keep things moving, whether that means supporting field interviews, tackling a challenging project, or just being someone everyone can count on.

And since Nelson is also celebrating a birthday this month, we had to give him a little extra love. If anyone’s wondering, Diet Coke and M&M’s are his favorite! 😉
