Part 2 of our custom walnut rolling tray 🍁

This time, we’re adding texture with the Dremel, something I’d never done before but quickly fell in love with. I also decided to make a matching scraper, with one side fully textured and a thumb grip carved into the other.

After many, many hand cramps and working through a week of 100°+ heat in the valley, the carving and texturing is officially done. I’m beyond obsessed with how it’s turning out.

So stoked to see this one finished 🪵

The Mega Board featured in Walnut 🔥

Unedited, unfiltered, photographed in partially shaded daylight under a palm tree. This incredible ~30 x 24 x 2.75” butcher block quickly became one of our favorites.

We started with a stunning piece of 8/4 Walnut from Conejo Hardwoods and seriously lucked out with this one. Curl, burl, feather, sapwood… all in one board.

Our very first sign for a local business is officially finished and installed! 🖤🪵
