What restaurant do you STILL miss? 👀

Mine is easy: Souplantation. 🥗

I loved walking down that huge salad bar and building exactly what I wanted—fresh greens, tons of vegetables, toppings, soups…and yes, I definitely made room for some of the fun stuff too. 😂

Looking back now, I realize how much I’d appreciate Souplantation living with type 2 diabetes. Having so many fresh, customizable choices made it easy to build a meal around vegetables, protein and fiber—and choose the carbs I actually wanted.

And apparently I’m not the only one who misses it! Sweet Tomatoes has started making a comeback in a couple of cities, so I’m holding out hope that someday Souplantation comes back to Southern California. 🙌🥗

I fight Type 2 Diabetes with daily exercise, and it makes a difference in how carbs affect my glucose levels!!

✅ Daily exercise + boxing helps me build muscle—and more muscle means more capacity to take up glucose from the bloodstream. 💪🥊 Better glucose uptake. Better glucose control.

❤️ HAPPINESS is …spending time with my mom for some “mother/daughter” time instead of waiting for the weekend!

✅ We enjoy breaking up the week with a midweek date when we just get out of the house and spend time together!!

🤩We are both silly and anything we do is fun!!

✅Studies show that it’s important for people of every age to participate in social engagements to keep the mind and body active!
