In the children’s room of our Monterey Colonial project, we chose pieces that balance youthful personality with timeless design. We were proud to feature the Suit chair by , a piece that brings playful elegance to this creative space.

Designed by Monica Förster, the Suit chair’s silhouette is both sculptural and comfortable. True to the Artifort name, it blends artistic form with the strength and durability required for a growing family.

In our Monterey Colonial project, we sought to create a primary bedroom that felt both modern and anchored. To achieve that balance, we turned to for their Bia Nightstands.

Custom-made and color-matched in Minneapolis and designed by Julia Miller, these pieces offer a sophisticated sense of storage and visual intrigue. With their solid wood side panels and charming rounded edges, the nightstands perfectly complement the serene, art-filled atmosphere of this Santa Monica home. Much like the rest of the house, the Bia Nightstand bring a handcrafted, intentional feel to the most private of spaces.

Designed like a home. Built for retail.

For Duet in Kauai, we approached the interiors with a residential lens by centering custom cabinetry as both display and backdrop.

Partnering with , we designed made-to-order doors that bring warmth and refinement, paired with the durability needed for everyday retail use. Pinching ourselves with how beautifully they turned out!

We partnered with to bring a “visible touch of the hand” to Katsuya Ko with their Turmeric and Rose tile. There’s a specific warmth you get from tile made in a human-scale factory. It reminds you people actually made the things you’re touching. Made by community, for community.

Katsuya Ko’s booth dividers are a true Los Angeles collaboration. The curtains were handcrafted by the artists at using medicinal plant dye and sustainable fibers. To hang them, the family team at .artandfabrication brought an artist’s eye to the metal fabrication, creating a sleek, sculptural profile with polished nickel plating from .

It’s rare to find a team where every person involved is an artist in their own right. Grateful to have these hands and minds on this project.

From the Pennsylvania woods to the San Diego coast ✈️ 🌊

For the interiors of the new Katsuya Ko, Studio Murnane needed quality, sustainable seating options that could withstand commercial demands. We partnered with the incredibly talented team at Peace Cabin to create these bespoke seat cushions that bring warmth and texture to the space. There’s something special about taking a seat and settling in with small-batch, PA-grown craftsmanship.

We used a series of sweeping archways throughout to balance softness and grandeur.

These curves keep the flow of the store feeling organic and feminine, framing vignettes that make the space feel less like a typical shop and more like somewhere you actually want to live.

We are so excited to reveal our latest retail project

For this space, we stepped away from traditional island aesthetics to create something truly unique for the area—a feminine, chic sanctuary that blends beachy ease with a touch of European sophistication. By elevating the storefront and focusing on high-impact design, we’ve turned this shop into a destination all its own.

This is just the beginning! Stay tuned as we dive deeper into the textures, tones, and architectural details that make this space so special.
