An 8 ft. diameter, 20 ft. high cylindrical gas storage tank was sliced in half, joined together to create a 40 ft. span, and placed one level (+16 ft) above the garden for the Carlson-Reges House’s swimming pool. “It would be adjacent to the living area and while swimming you could see the city when coming up for air. The practical benefits would be a full-sized, shaded garden below that gets watered when the water spills over the sides of the pool above.” Materials for the house were salvaged from the owners’ salvage yard.
