This creative and collaborative workplace was designed to support the way a venture capital team works today. The design-build project brought together a creative office layout, collaborative pod system, focus rooms, and inviting common areas balanced with textured walls and warm wood accents for a refined, modern feel. Behind the scenes, we also upgraded the technology infrastructure with low-voltage and security systems, data cabling, and server room improvements. Check out the results!

Brian joins our Orange County office as Project Executive, bringing 28 years of industry experience leading complex commercial and healthcare construction projects throughout Southern California. Kelly joins as Project Manager, adding extensive experience coordinating project teams and delivering successful tenant improvement projects.

Together, they strengthen our OC team with the leadership, expertise, and client-focused approach that define HBC.

We were honored to welcome Representative Congressman Dave Min to one of our Newport Beach jobsites for a conversation about employee ownership and the impact of our ESOP.

During the visit, we shared HBC's employee ownership journey, toured an active jobsite, and heard firsthand from our employee-owners about what being part of a 100% employee-owned company means to them.

Several HBC employee-owners recently attended the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention’s (AFSP) Construction Hike for Hope. HBC was a sponsor of the event, supporting AFSP’s mission to engage the construction industry on the importance of mental health and su***de prevention.

Congratulations to HBC’s Josh Farmer for being recognized for his outstanding dedication to the cause. Through his efforts, HBC helped raise $8,500 to support the organization’s mission.
