HBC is a general contracting firm founded in 1983, servicing a broad spectrum of clients from our two Southern California offices. While interior commercial projects are our specialty, we provide a wide array of construction services for architects, interior designers, commercial brokers, asset advisors, landlords, project managers, and individual clients. We loved welcoming the next generation of builders and innovators to our Los Angeles office for Bring Your Kids to Work Day!

The day provided an educational experience for our employee-owners and their families, giving children an opportunity to learn about our industry, explore a variety of career paths, and see firsthand how we bring projects to life. A highlight of the day was visiting one of our active jobsites.

We helped transform HSF’s headquarters around The Library, a vibrant space designed to bring together knowledge, connection, and community.

Inspired by HSF’s mission to empower courageous leaders through education, the new workplace was created to be both flexible and welcoming, supporting the team while encouraging connection.

This creative and collaborative workplace was designed to support the way a venture capital team works today. The project brought together a creative office layout, collaborative pod system, focus rooms, and inviting common areas balanced with textured walls and warm wood accents for a refined, modern feel. Behind the scenes, we also upgraded the technology infrastructure with low-voltage and security systems, data cabling, and server room improvements. Check out the results!

Brian joins our Orange County office as Project Executive, bringing 28 years of industry experience leading complex commercial and healthcare construction projects throughout Southern California. Kelly joins as Project Manager, adding extensive experience coordinating project teams and delivering successful tenant improvement projects.
