Decades in the making, and we’re honored we could help bring it to life. Huge thank you to our incredible clients for sharing such kind words about JZ, Nate, and the whole crew. Stories like this make everything we do worth it! 👇
We are having the best summer of our lives thanks to Sunset Designers & Builders! If you're looking for a pool and backyard contractor who truly delivers on every promise, I can't recommend them highly enough.
John Zahn (JZ), the owner, and his trusted second-in-command, Nate, along with their outstanding crew, transformed our backyard into something we had been dreaming about for decades. The finished result is absolutely stunning! It is a perfect combination of beauty and functionality. From the very beginning, communication was exceptional. John has over 45 years of experience, and it shows in every aspect of the project. We received daily video updates so we always knew exactly what had been accomplished and what was coming next. The project was completed within the timeframe we requested, which coordinated with the rest of our home remodel project.
One of the things we appreciated most was John's design instinct. He has an incredible eye for creating a cohesive, beautiful outdoor space, while also listening carefully to our ideas and incorporating our personal preferences. The result feels uniquely ours, only better than we ever imagined. Our project included remodeling our existing pool, adding a spa , new decking, landscaping, outdoor lighting, integrated speakers, and an incredible BBQ island. They even redesigned our patio cover so it blended seamlessly with the new backyard. Every detail was thoughtfully planned.
The automation is another feature we love. The pool, lighting, and sprinklers are all controlled automatically with timers, making everything easy to enjoy without constant maintenance. One design feature we especially appreciate is the raised pool walls. Besides looking elegant, they provide an added measure of safety because it's much harder for young children or older adults to accidentally fall into the pool.
The entire crew was loyal, friendly, respectful, and incredibly hardworking. It was obvious they take pride in their craftsmanship and genuinely care about doing the job right. Sunset Designers & Builders handled every facet of our backyard remodel, making what could have been a stressful experience remarkably smooth.
If you want a contractor who combines decades of experience, outstanding communication, exceptional craftsmanship, and true artistic vision, Sunset Designers & Builders should be your first call. They didn't just remodel our backyard; they created an outdoor living space we'll enjoy for years to come. We couldn't be happier, and we give them our highest recommendation.
