Setting grade; A multi faceted position that requires the ability to understand and read plans, Communicate expectations from foreman to crew, Keep the project moving forward, problem solve, technologically savvy. These positions are hard to find in an age where technology is making it easier but requiring less job knowledge. Western uses technology to our advantage whenever possible, however having employees who know and can stay productive without it is a key asset we have and love. Here our Gradesetter is setting up a curb and gutter section for a skip loader to finish!
