🔧 Colby & Daniel getting it done today! 🔧

Today started with a sewer line that had the homeowner worried they would need a costly liner installation. After exposing the sewer, Colby and Daniel installed new double-barrel cleanouts with relief tops, then performed a thorough hydro jetting and descaling service to restore the pipe to its original diameter.

The best part? Once the buildup was removed and the line was properly inspected, we found the sewer itself was in good shape and a liner wasn’t needed after all. Saving customers money while providing honest solutions is what we’re all about.

Our second stop was a kitchen sink drain that had been causing problems for quite some time. After descaling the line and removing years of buildup, we got everything flowing properly again.

A quick 20-second look into a day on the job with Daniel Enoc Hernandez from Pither Plumbing!

This project started with an unstopped sewer line. Once we got things flowing again, our crew used hydro excavation to safely expose the sewer and install new cleanouts for easier maintenance and future access.

Today I turn 50 years old.

As I look back, I’m incredibly grateful for my family, our employees, our customers, and the East Texas communities that have supported Pither Plumbing for generations.

What started with my grandfather, then my father, has been my privilege to continue, and now I’m blessed to see the fourth generation of the Pither family working in the business.

Thank you to everyone who has trusted us with your homes and businesses over the years. Your support has allowed us to do what we love for nearly 80 years.

Here’s to the next chapter and continuing to serve East Texas for many years to come.

Today’s project was a great example of why trenchless sewer repair is such a game changer for East Texas cities and commercial properties.

We were called out to repair a cracked and shifted sewer line entering a city manhole in a highly visible commercial area. Since the property owner had recently poured new concrete, the city preferred a trenchless solution to avoid tearing everything up and leaving behind an ugly patch job.

Our crew was able to remove the damaged section and install a new cured-in-place pipe liner from the manhole connection all the way to the transition point where the city sewer meets the customer-owned line. The liner was UV cured for a fast, durable repair with minimal disruption.

This one came with a few challenges:
✔️ 21’ deep manhole
✔️ Sewer inlet located 12’ underground
✔️ Confined space entry procedures required
✔️ Full PPE, harnesses, tripod setup, gas monitors, and fresh air ventilation utilized for crew safety

The best part? We left the office at 8:15 AM, completed the liner install and UV cure, and were back planning the second job of the day by 10:30 AM.

That’s the power of advanced trenchless technology, preparation, and a solid crew.
