🎉 HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Ronald Iker! 🎉

Today, we’re not just celebrating Ron’s birthday — we’re celebrating a man who has been an incredibly important part of the Pither Plumbing family for nearly 37 years.

Ron joined Pither Plumbing on October 5, 1989, and the dedication, knowledge, loyalty, and professionalism he has brought with him every day since then are difficult to put into words.

Over the years, Ron has never stopped learning or challenging himself to become better at his craft. He worked his way from earning his Journeyman Plumbing License to becoming a Master Plumber, while also earning his Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester certification and developing an incredible depth of knowledge across virtually every aspect of plumbing service.

In our opinion, Ron has become one of the most well-rounded and technically skilled service plumbers in East Texas — and we’d put his knowledge and abilities up against just about anyone in Texas.

But what makes Ron so special to us goes far beyond licenses, certifications, or technical ability.

It’s the decades of loyalty. The countless customers he has taken care of. The problems he has solved when others couldn’t. The knowledge he has shared. The example he has set. And the commitment he has shown to doing things the right way.

Ron, you have helped make Pither Plumbing what it is today. We hope you know how deeply you are respected, appreciated, and valued by all of us. Having someone dedicate this much of his life and career to our company is something we will never take for granted.

We also want to recognize Ron’s family, because nearly 37 years of dedication to a career doesn’t happen without the love, patience, sacrifice, and support of the people waiting at home. We are sincerely grateful to your family for sharing you with the Pither family all these years.

Ron, it is truly an honor to have you on our team and an even greater honor to call you family.

🎉 **HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JOHNNIE CHAMBERS!** 🎉

Around Pither Plumbing, Johnnie is basically the guy who keeps the wheels from falling off… sometimes literally. 😂

He handles the **warehouse, parts runs, equipment repairs, last-minute emergencies, missing tools, broken stuff, and about 47 other jobs that nobody officially put in his job description.** If the crews need it, Johnnie finds it. If it breaks, Johnnie fixes it. If something needs to be somewhere five minutes ago… well, Johnnie probably already left with it.

The truth is, **we could not survive without him.** He keeps our guys supplied, our equipment running, and our operation moving every single day. A lot of what he does happens behind the scenes, but it makes a HUGE difference around here.

And if all that wasn’t enough, Johnnie also has the very important responsibility of being **Patrick’s father-in-law.** We’re still trying to decide which job requires more patience. 😂😂

Johnnie, we appreciate everything you do for Pither Plumbing and for all of us. We hope you get to take it easy today… although somebody will probably call needing a part before lunch. 🤣

We couldn’t be more proud of the young man you’ve become. At only 21, you’ve stepped up in so many ways, taken on responsibility, and continued to grow both personally and professionally.

Hunter has become a tremendous asset to Pither Plumbing, but even more importantly, he’s a valued and loved member of our family. Your hard work, dedication, and willingness to step up never go unnoticed.

Although Isabel is one of our newest team members, she has made an incredible impact in a short amount of time. Her dedication, positive attitude, and willingness to jump in wherever she’s needed have not gone unnoticed.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of a longtime member of the Pither Plumbing family, Larry.

Born October 25, 1961, Larry joined Pither Plumbing on June 1, 1984, and faithfully served our company and community until his retirement on December 1, 2023. During nearly 40 years with us, he became much more than a valued employee. He was a teacher, mentor, friend, and an important part of our family.

Larry shared his knowledge freely and taught so many of us lessons that will continue to shape our work for years to come. His legacy also lives on through his son, Lucas, who became a master plumber and has gone on to open his own plumbing company.

We extend our deepest condolences to Lucas and the entire family. Larry made a lasting impact on Pither Plumbing and on everyone fortunate enough to know and work alongside him.

He will truly be missed.

Shoutout to Ben at Coburn’s! 👏

A huge thank you to Ben Clark with Coburn Supply for getting us set up with this new Speed Queen washer and dryer. We appreciate you helping us get exactly what we needed!

Over the last five years, we’ve been through at least three sets of the latest WiFi-enabled machines loaded with apps and all the fancy features. They looked great on paper, but they just didn’t hold up.

This time, we decided to go back to the basics, and we couldn’t be happier. Speed Queen is built to last, built to work, and built without all the unnecessary gadgets. Sometimes simple really is better.

Big thanks as well to Colby Stamen and Daniel Enoc Hernandez for getting everything installed and ready to go. Great job, guys!

Here’s to years of reliable service from a washer and dryer that simply do what they’re supposed to do. 💪🧺
