Progress isnāt always pretty, but itās always honest.
Out at Cedar Heights (70 acres | 71 lots), we hit groundwater while installing our storm boxes. Thatās a big dealā¦because if not handled right, it can erode the subgrade beneath the pavement and lead to cracked, compromised concrete down the line.
So we slowed down and did it right.
Per the engineerās direction, we drilled 3 test wells to fully understand what weāre dealing with. Now weāre waiting on the data to guide the next move.
The goal: create a controlled path for the water to flow into our storm system and safely discharge into the nearby creekā¦protecting the integrity of the entire development.
This is the part people donāt always see. But this is what building it right actually looks like.
