BOSS Heavy Haul recently completed a major move, transporting several oversized cold boxes roughly 200 miles from Houston to McGregor, Texas — safely and without a hitch.

Standing at an impressive 25 feet tall, these cold boxes required careful planning and a helping hand along the way. That's where our friends at Kenco came in, partnering with us to navigate the route and keep this oversized haul moving safely from start to finish.

BOSS Heavy Haul just launched a dedicated rail transload service at its Dayton, TX terminal: a half-mile, bridge-free route from rail siding to an 80-acre yard, cutting permit times to a week or less.

This builds on our Dayton terminal's 15-acre Foreign-Trade Zone, letting rail cargo bypass import duties until it moves to domestic use. With on-site cranes, gantries, jack-and-slide equipment, and 24/7 security, we're ready to handle transformers, turbines, generators, rotors, HRSG modules, and other heavy, out-of-gauge freight.
