Following this winters unusual weather, NG Companies has decided to take action and invoke the power of Murphy’s Law. In order to force winter out of the south and back to the Rockies, all trucks is the south east will be using chains throughout the winter. Additionally, all trucks in the mountain regions will be switching to drag slicks. We are confident this will ensure a mild winter in Florida and heavy snowfall in the mountains. NG was brought in to do some trenching for a new cable install at this substation near Boulder. Hydrovac is a perfect solution for this type of job: high voltage, high winds, and a tight workspace with a lot of simultaneous operations. We’re able to park outside the fence, keep the boom low, and remote the hose as needed. No spoil piles, no buckets of dirt being dumped — which is great when it’s gusting 70 mph in the foothills.
Hydrovac isn’t just for daylighting and discovery. It’s an extremely effective tool for new construction as well.
