This is one of the inspirations for my company name. Capoeira was used to liberate by the slaves in Brazil. They fled into the jungles and climbed the trees, descending on the slave hunters from above. Winning their freedom.

Ants protect aphids! They "ranch" the aphids, feeding off their honeydew and protecting them from beneficial predatory insects. Elaborate more later, it's fascinating and horrible!

Willow has a failed lead. Adventitous roots in center from organic debris and moisture, inner bark from compartmentalization. Reducing leads to mitigate hazards on remaining. Looking at supplemental nutrient and mulch to preserve what's left after mitigation.
