This Pine has been found guilty of dripping and dropping and the property owners have decided it needs to be cut down. A sad day, indeed. However, their very large Ash tree has been injected with emamectin benzoate and will live on! I did stand up for this tree, alas their mind was made up. It was raining sap droplets and supporting an errant cottonwood limb that now has direct access to the driveway.

How can you tell if the soil needs watered?

How much do you water?

How often, within restriction?

How can you mitigate evaporation?

Is there a difference between deciduous and evergreen watering zones?

Having the resources to have questions answered, knowing what to ask is what saves your ash.

Willow has a failed lead. Adventitous roots in center from organic debris and moisture, inner bark from compartmentalization. Reducing leads to mitigate hazards on remaining. Looking at supplemental nutrient and mulch to preserve what's left after mitigation.
