Building a home is a major investment. Do you know how much the design phase typically takes out of the budget?

Traditional local architect fees generally run between 4% and 12% of the total construction cost.

The Answer: False!

The Answer: No!

In architectural drafting, square footage is measured from the outside face of one stud to the outside face of another, and it only includes heated/conditioned spaces. It specifically excludes garages, porches, storage, and future expansion spaces.
