C.A.C. Industries, Inc. is a New York City based Sewer, Water Main, Utility, Rail, Bridge, and Highway contractor. C.A.C is growing and changing at a rapid pace.

The company is always looking for innovative ways to help the environment. With this rapid growth, we are always looking for ways to help the environment. We began with the purchase of hybrid vehicles and a hybrid excavator. Currently, we are one of only two companies who use the hybrid excavator in NYC. Industries, Inc.'s goal is to be recognized as an environmentally friendly company to the community and the world.

As summer comes to a close, we want to recognize our 2026 C.A.C. Industries summer interns.

Throughout the summer, our interns had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across our projects, working alongside our field and office teams and seeing firsthand what it takes to build some of New York City’s most challenging infrastructure.

At C.A.C., we believe in creating Unlimited Opportunities for the next generation of our industry. We’re proud of the hard work, curiosity, and commitment this group brought with them every day.

Thank you to all of our interns for being part of the C.A.C. team this summer. We wish you the best as you head back to school and look forward to seeing where the future takes you.

This 36-inch valve, originally installed in the early 1900s, was excavated and removed from the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Jamaica Avenue in East New York, Brooklyn, during our BED776 48” steel water main replacement project.

Instead of letting a piece of New York City’s infrastructure history disappear, we gave it a second life.

A special thank you to and the team at for restoring this valve and making it something truly special. It now proudly sits in front of our new CAC headquarters as a reminder of the generations of infrastructure that came before us—and the work we’re doing to build what comes next.

We’ve added a new Mecalac 216M rubber-tire excavator, equipped with high-rail capabilities for our railroad and track work projects.

Last week, our interns toured the IPC East Side Coastal Resiliency project site, giving them the opportunity to see the work that CAC has been performing. Seeing firsthand how a large-scale infrastructure project is planned and executed provided the interns with valuable insight into the coordination and collaboration required to successfully deliver these complex jobs. 🔨 🦺

This week, we welcomed an incredible group of interns to our 2026 Summer Internship Program! During Intern Orientation, our interns had the opportunity to dive into C.A.C.’s history, values, and mission, gaining a better understanding of the work we do and the impact we make. They also toured our ExxonMobil project job site and our Shop to see our operations in action firsthand.

Throughout the day, interns connected with one another and engaged with members of our executive team through games and activities, building relationships that will support them throughout the summer.

We are excited to have such a talented group join us and look forward to seeing their growth, contributions, and achievements in the months ahead. Welcome to the C.A.C. team!
