This wraparound porch and screened room on a classic colonial is a study in old-world craftsmanship: turned columns, crisp white lattice skirting, and a screened corner tucked beneath century-old maples. It's proof that the best design decisions aren't always about adding something new — sometimes they're about honoring what was already beautiful and giving it the quality it deserves.

We love a project like this one. The screened room means bug-free mornings with coffee and the paper. The open porch beyond means room for the whole family to gather on a summer evening. And that lattice skirting? Equal parts function and finish — hiding the foundation while keeping the airflow this old girl needs.

Timeless materials, thoughtful restoration, and a whole lot of character. This is what we mean when we say design should honor a home's story.

Golden hour never looked so good. ☀️

This three-season porch is one of our favorite additions to date — soft sage-green trim against warm, weathered siding, wrapped in oversized windows so the outdoors never really leaves the room. It's the kind of space that blurs the line between inside and out: morning coffee with the dew still on the lawn, or evenings by the fire pit just steps away on the new stone patio.

This is what a great addition does — it doesn't just add square footage, it adds a whole new way to live in your home. More room to gather, more time outside, and a space that will feel just as beautiful ten years from now as it does today.

Not every bathroom needs to whisper — this one knows exactly what it wants to say. 🖤🧡

We grounded this double-vanity bath in rich, dark cabinetry and a warm granite that reads timeless, not trendy — the kind of countertop that will look just as good in ten years as it does today. Then we let the color have its moment: a bold red repeated in the towels and the gerbera daisy prints, so the eye keeps moving down the space instead of stopping short.

The mix is what makes it feel collected rather than "matchy" — a glossy mosaic backsplash against matte espresso cabinetry, glam mirrors framed in black against playful giraffe and bird artwork. And because two people are getting ready here at once, the layout does the real work: a full double vanity with independent lighting over each mirror, so no one's fighting for the good light.

This is the difference between decorating a bathroom and designing one — every finish is chosen to last, every accent is chosen to delight.

This basement kitchenette proves that a secondary prep space can pack in just as much thoughtful design as a full kitchen. Floating white quartz shelves float against a full-height marble-look tile backsplash, creating a clean, gallery-like display for everyday glassware and essentials — no upper cabinets needed to keep things organized.

Down below, a deep farmhouse sink and matte black gooseneck faucet bring in a touch of classic character, while the honed black quartz countertop grounds the space and hides everyday wear beautifully. A built-in cooktop means this space can genuinely function — not just for coffee and snacks, but real meal prep when the upstairs kitchen is out of reach.

Proof that "just a basement kitchenette" can still feel like a considered, finished part of the home.

The basement glow-up that made "let's hang out downstairs" the most requested phrase in the house. 🎬

This basement remodel proves that a family hangout space doesn't have to sacrifice design to be functional. On one side, we built out a wet bar with a live-edge wood counter, floating oak shelving, and a quartz-topped serving station — grown-up game night, fully equipped. Just beyond it, built-in cabinetry keeps toys, games, and media organized and out of sight, with a mounted TV and cozy seating anchored by a graphic black-and-white rug.

What ties the whole space together is the gallery of framed art running along the header — small in scale individually, but styled in a row so they read as one confident, collected moment rather than a scattered afterthought. It's a great reminder that even a "just for fun" space deserves the same layered, intentional design as any room upstairs.

A basement should work as hard as it plays. This one does both, beautifully.

Basements deserve beautiful bathrooms too. ✨

We don't believe in "just" a basement bathroom — every square foot of a home deserves the same design intention, and this one proves it. The marble-look tile in the shower surround brings a spa-like calm underground, with a pop of blue mosaic in the niche that keeps it from feeling flat or too serious.

The charcoal vanity is doing a lot of the heavy lifting here — it grounds the all-white palette and gives the room a sense of depth, while that brass-framed mirror adds a warm, unexpected finishing touch against the cool marble and quartz. Small space, big personality.

This is exactly the kind of detail that elevates a basement from "extra space" to genuinely finished living space — the kind your guests actually enjoy using.

A whole-home exterior transformation that gives this house so much more presence — and so much more porch. 🏡

This one was a true top-to-bottom exterior remodel, and every piece was designed to work together. We added a dormer on the right side to bring in more light and volume upstairs, then built out a center bridge addition that connects the home's two rooflines and gives it a stronger, more cohesive silhouette from the street.

The real showstopper, though, is the farmer's porch. We wrapped it across the front of the home with a classic arbor detail over the entry — the kind of feature that instantly signals "come sit a while." Paired with a new stone walkway and stairs leading up from the driveway, the whole approach to the front door feels intentional now instead of like an afterthought.

And a complete exterior repaint tied every element — old and new — into one seamless look. That's the real magic of an exterior remodel: additions and updates that don't look bolted on, but like they were always meant to be there.

Rocking chairs on the porch, optional. Highly recommended, though. 🪑

Sometimes the best transformation is the one that gives you more room to actually live outside. 🍂

This project was all about expanding what this home could do — a thoughtful addition to the footprint, a brand-new deck, and a full exterior refresh that ties it all together. The sunroom bump-out floods the back of the house with light through a full run of windows, while the new composite deck (with a proper staircase down to the yard) turns this whole backside into an extension of the living space — perfect for grilling, morning coffee, or just soaking in a fall afternoon under those pines.

We updated the siding and trim across the whole exterior so the addition doesn't read as an addition — it reads as if it was always part of the house. That's the goal with every exterior project: new square footage should feel seamless with the original architecture, not bolted on.

And who doesn't love a reveal with the trees putting on their own show in the background? This home is ready for every season ahead.

A remodel that proves neutral doesn't mean boring. 🍊

This bathroom refresh is one of our favorite kinds of transformations — a calm, classic foundation with just the right pop of personality layered on top. We kept the palette grounded with warm white cabinetry and a golden granite countertop full of natural movement, then let a punchy coral shower curtain and towels do the talking.

The double vanity was designed with real family mornings in mind — two full sink stations, a central storage tower for everyday essentials, and framed mirrors that bounce natural light from the window straight across the room. It's proof that a well-planned layout is what actually makes a shared bathroom feel spacious, not just square footage.

We love this one because it shows our philosophy in action: keep the big-ticket, permanent choices — cabinetry, countertops, tile — timeless and neutral, then have fun with the pieces that are easy to swap down the road. That shower curtain could change with the seasons. This layout, this quality, this light? That's built to last.

Sometimes the boldest design move is knowing exactly where to spend and where to play.

This redesigned stair hall connects all three stories of the home, and we wanted every landing along the way to feel just as considered as the rooms it leads to. A simple, classic white spindle railing and warm oak treads keep the sightlines open between levels, so three flights of stairs read as light and airy rather than closed off and utilitarian.

What makes it sing is the layering on top of that clean architecture: a curated run of vintage-inspired kilim stair runners in warm reds and blues, a gallery of art and textiles collected over years of travel and life, and just the right amount of personality with pieces that make you smile every time you pass them — on every level. This is exactly the kind of "art of the mix" we love — classic millwork and crisp white paint providing the timeless foundation, while the layers of pattern, color, and collected objects make it unmistakably personal.

Three stories, one continuous story of home.
