🌧️ Heavy rain means your sump pump is working overtime!

With all this rain, now is a good time to make sure your sump pump is ready to do its job. A properly working sump pump helps move water away from your home and can be a big defense against a flooded basement.

A few quick things to check:
• Make sure your pump turns on properly
• Check that the discharge line is clear
• Consider a battery backup in case the power goes out
• Don’t wait until there’s water on the basement floor to find out there’s a problem!
