Horror story for homeowners: A few weeks ago I was walking by a customer's deck and I noticed this small separation between the frame and the decking. I'm glad I questioned it because I uncovered about 20 years of rot.

Might be a good day to take a level to your decks and ensure they pitch AWAY from the house...
