ome lawns are still holding up surprisingly well despite the lack of rain, but we definitely could use some much-needed rainfall!

Unfortunately, over the last month we’ve had to skip several lawns simply because they were too dry and didn’t have enough growth to justify mowing. While we hate having to skip anyone, we also don’t believe in mowing a lawn just for the sake of mowing it.

We’re ready and waiting for Mother Nature to cooperate so we can get back to running our full routes and taking care of everyone each week! 🌱🌧️☀️

Hopefully some steady rain is headed our way soon and we can get these lawns growing and looking their best again!

Today we want to address something important regarding unpaid invoices.

We understand that times can be difficult, and we truly try to work with our customers whenever possible. At D&A Lawn Care, we pride ourselves on maintaining honest, respectful, and professional communication with every customer we serve.

However, if you are unable to pay an invoice on time, the professional thing to do is communicate with us. Ignoring invoices, opening them without responding, or pretending they do not exist is simply not acceptable.

When you hire us to maintain your property, you are hiring a small family-owned business that depends on timely payments to continue operating. This is not a hobby for us — it is our livelihood and source of income for our family.

At this time, customers with invoices that are over one week past due and who have made no attempt to communicate with us will be removed from our mowing routes and future services will be discontinued. We receive calls daily from new customers looking for service, and we must prioritize customers who respect our time, work, and business.

We normally like to keep our posts positive and friendly, but this needed to be said.

We sincerely appreciate all of the amazing customers who continue to support our small business, communicate with us, and pay on time. Your support truly means everything to us.

The pronounced disparity between a lush, irrigated lawn and a desiccated one underscores the significance of sufficient hydration. This was apparent yesterday when 10 yards required bypassing due to acute water deficiency. During periods of drought, maintaining a consistent watering regimen is crucial to prevent lawn degradation.

New Mulch Installation Complete!

We had the pleasure of installing fresh mulch for one of our valued customers today. With their graduation party coming up next weekend, they wanted their property looking its absolute best for family and friends.

D&A Lawn Care was happy to help enhance the curb appeal and give the landscape a fresh, clean appearance just in time for the celebration.
